"I was pleased for a while. But as soon as I started asking about cost savings the level of customer service dropped. Whereas they would respond same day or at most 2 business days later all of a sudden it’s no response from my main contact, Michelle. When the main guy is copied you get the “we will look into that” and then nothing. I decided to shop around and found better coverage for less money on everything (home, auto and umbrella) through Farmers. So I switched. Now they claim I got a refund for auto and umbrella that hasn’t arrived and their math on the refund makes no sense and is of course in their favor. If Michelle is still with the company she’s not responded at all. If she’s left no one told me. Sad. But they are just proving I made the right decision in switching."

"Alissa, We pride ourselves on providing great service as it relates to auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance and business insurance. I am sorry that you feel this way. I spoke with both Carolyn and Michelle. They indicated that you have called them several times since 12/16th about this issue. Each time, they immediately responded about your bill and the associated credit. They also empathize with your frustration but unfortunately the credit that State Farm applied is correct. Just to clarify, we have NO control of the billing or credits. Each of us have double and triple checked with billing about this refund. Although it isn't ideal, again, the refund amount is correct and that amount was refunded back to the checking account we had on file. We still understand your frustration and if there is anything else we can do to help, please give me a call. Sincerely Matt Dougherty."

"Mason is a star! He came at the right time when I was unhappy with Progressive. I fully support my local State Farm and the agents they hire. Mason compared insurance policies and did the work to make sure I would get the same policies, he even offered more than what Progressive offered at a cheaper rate! 12/10! He deserves a raise or at least a giant holiday bonus."
